Lauren Sawyer, MS, LPC

In 2004, I graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor’s of Science in Crime & Society.  In 2008, I graduated with a Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology from Evangel University.  Following graduation, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri and began working in private practice.  Since that time, I have partnered with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in the therapeutic process.  In addition to being in private practice, I have also worked in a residential treatment facility for children.

My free time is spent volunteering for organizations that are important to me, including PTA, North Point Church, the Springfield Dream Center, and The Child Advocacy Center.  I’m proud to have served in leadership and development roles in these organizations, as I believe they have a direct impact on our community.  I also enjoy spending time with my family and being outside in our beautiful Ozarks landscape.
